Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 31 August 2026
These terms apply to every purchase made through the S4UDIO marketplace. Please read them before buying — placing an order means you accept them.
1. Who we are
S4UDIO is a trading name of Lumen Horizons Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17375920). References to "we", "us" or "S4UDIO" in these terms mean Lumen Horizons Ltd trading as S4UDIO. Our registered office address is available on request and on the public record at Companies House.
You can contact us at info@s4udio.com.
2. What we sell
S4UDIO sells pre-built website template systems. Each template on the marketplace is offered in up to three tiers:
- Template (£75) — the complete source code, delivered digitally, for you to host and maintain yourself.
- Launch (£150) — the Template tier, plus we deploy it to hosting on your behalf.
- Done-For-You (£350) — a service: we customise, brand and launch the template for you. This is bespoke work, not a source-code licence, and is treated as a service contract under section 6 below.
Prices are shown in GBP and include no hidden fees beyond what's stated at checkout. We may correct an obviously mispriced listing before accepting an order for it.
3. Ordering and payment
Orders are placed and paid for through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment processing under its own terms and privacy practices. A contract between you and us is formed when payment is confirmed, not when you add an item to your basket.
4. Licence — Template and Launch tiers
Buying the Template or Launch tier grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that template's source code for one live project (your own, or a single named client's, if you are building it on their behalf). Specifically, you may:
- modify the code to suit your project;
- deploy the finished site for the one project the licence covers.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the template itself (modified or not) as a standalone product or competing template;
- use a single purchased licence across multiple unrelated end-client projects — a separate licence is needed per project;
- claim authorship of the underlying design or code.
Some templates may include third-party assets (stock photography, icon sets, fonts) which carry their own licences; where that applies, it's noted on the template's listing or within the delivered files.
5. Delivery — Template and Launch tiers
Template and Launch purchases are digital: access to the source code (and, for Launch, confirmation once deployment is complete) is provided as soon as payment is confirmed, typically by email. Because delivery of digital content begins immediately, see section 7 on your right to cancel.
6. Done-For-You service
The Done-For-You tier is a service, not an instant digital download. After purchase, we'll contact you to agree the scope (branding, content and any customisation) before work begins. Timelines are agreed individually and are not guaranteed at the point of purchase. Once work has started at your request, see section 7 for how this affects cancellation.
7. Your right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers in the UK normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. This works differently for the two kinds of purchase we offer:
- Template and Launch (digital content): by completing your purchase you expressly request delivery to begin immediately and acknowledge that, once delivery has started, you lose the right to cancel. We tell you this before you pay.
- Done-For-You (a service): you may cancel within 14 days of purchase, without penalty, for any work not yet carried out. If you ask us to begin work within that 14-day period, you may still cancel, but you'll be charged for the proportion of work already done up to the point you cancel.
None of this affects your right to a refund or repair if what we deliver is faulty or not as described — see section 8.
8. Refunds
If a template you purchase is genuinely broken, or clearly doesn't match its listing, contact us within a reasonable time and we'll put it right or refund you. We don't offer refunds for a change of mind on Template or Launch purchases once the files have been delivered, in line with section 7 above.
9. Acceptable use
You won't use anything you buy from us for anything unlawful, and you won't misrepresent a purchased template as your own original design when selling services to a client, if doing so would mislead them about what they're paying for.
10. Liability
We provide templates and services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited or excluded. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here at the time of your order. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
